  Apparently this matter is eating away at you. So, as Jesus suggested, "Be about settling matters quickly..." Matt 5:25. Go get it done and be at peace.

  Waiting on Jehovah

  there were so many times, when things didn't seem right in the organization or congregation, or when things weren't understood, you were informed : "just wait on jehovah, or in time jehovah will make it right".

  my question becomes obscured with the fact that if in fact the elders are appointed by holy spirit, he would also direct them to make the right decisions in behalf of his congregation right?.

  but if one of the elders felt he would be directed by god, and did things in behalf of his congregation, why would he be called on the carpet?

  You did the right thing by reporting it! I play professional golf and when I see an infraction, I report it. In golf when you cheat, you cheat your fellow competitors and yourself. A Jamaican official once said to his best freiend, ... "you can cheat, just don't get caught!" He did get caught and his cheating was aired on TV and was barred from competitive golf in three countries. Gold 'rules' are designed to help you, 'not' punish you. This golfer bastardized the rule and he got caught.

  You did the right thing! No, Jehovah is waiting for YOU to report it. I'm talking about serious matters in the cong., not frivolous ones.

  anybody been following the development and release of this movie?.

  an 'r' rated jesus film, one that portrays a no holds barred depiction of the the beatings, the whippings, and the execution.

  all dialogue is in the 'original' languages (at first it wasn't supposed to be subtitled, but mel gibson finally caved in on this point.

  Looking foward to it! Why the outcry? Since the ACLU has barred the Nativity scene and anything to do with Christianity, who gave them the authority to deny others their SPIRITUAL FREEDOMS?

  Relationship: Do you hold back from saying all you are thinking?

  i have become so much more independent and in some ways demanding as i have stopped being a jw.

  there was a time when i was literally a doormat for my first husband.

  but i have found from being single and then add to that losing the grip from the jw rules, i have become more independence and in many ways more of an opinion.
